The BCDG is a national, UK based, group of Dermatologists offering unbiased educational programmes and supporting clinical and laboratory research into cosmetic dermatology. This group is part of the British Association of Dermatologists and members are active in both associations. The BCDG functions independently of commercial interests and is not sponsored by commercial organisations.All full members are on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register listed as Consultant Dermatologists and are recognised as the highest qualified skin care experts.

SK:N 12th Annual Medical Convention 

This is an annual forum where many of the country's leading Dermatologists Plastic Surgeons come together to explore the latest in new treatments and technologies.  This year's agenda consists of lectures presented by Medical Professionals such as Dr Firas Al-Niaimi & Dr Daron Seukeran including potential live feed demonstrations. CPD points will be applied for.

BCDG/BAD Award (2016)

£1,500 for Trainees and Junior ConsultantsThis was won by Dr Faisal Ali for his application to visit Dr Steven Thng’s Pigmented Skin Unit at the National Skin Centre in Singapore. Dr Ali plans to learn melanocyte harvesting and grafting techniques in the treatment of stable vitiligo nad with a view to introducing a clinical service to the UK. He will also attend clinics managing vitiligo, melasma, lupus, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, lichen planus pigmentosa etc in pigmented skinCongratulations Faisal!Judging was performed by three consultant dermatologists who are members of BCDG.The Fellowship will be advertised again next year with a deadline for applications on 31st March 2017
